The Power of Faith: Lessons from Abraham and David

AWESOME IN POWER

Abraham knew You as El Shaddai; The One and Only ~~ God Almighty. Speaking with him; he fell on his face there at that place. Changing his name, You kept him ever to remain. He pleased you, for faith was the life blood in his vein.

You taught him to possess his own Vessel in patience. A father of many nations to be; In sovereign rule this was established you see. Watching and guarding all the while, for in this man was found no malevolent guile

You Lord, the Protector, provider, and the lover of the soul. In life’s ebb and flow, our life expectancy one can never know. As life takes its toll, failure tries its best to take a role. However, You are my shield and the highest of yield.

King Nebuchadnezzar; to him, El Elyon The God Most High! This King lifted his eyes to heaven, wise to the lone sovereign ruler. Unto this heart You returned pertinent honor, and splendor, and restoration renewal! Another King comes to mind; Remember King Lemuel? Records show precious little as to his identity and is detail uncertain as to life or reign. so we move on to that which is further made plain.

With praise and blessing, he honored You as the one who lives forever. He proclaimed Your dominion as everlasting. Your kingdom extending from generation to generation. David prayed for wisdom and forgiveness and his demonstration in no way resembled any play of a caper, asserting ever so brilliantly that every man at his best state is but vapor;

For El Elyon does according to His will in the army of heaven. Still, no kinship can restrain His mighty hand. Nor can anyone say in fun, “What have You done?” In absolute surrender we cry to the God Most High. The living Savior who accomplishes everything for us and yet stays nigh;

Joshua, Hur, and Moses knew You At the top of the hill, With the edge of the sword and the Amelek people were killed! Defeat was swift – as by Your hand, this gift You said to Moses, “Write this down” As a memorial in the book; Recount it in the hearing of Joshua That I will literally blot out The remembrance of Amalek From under My heaven;

So it was. Moses built an altar and called it The – Lord – Is – My – Banner. The God Most High teaches us to “war.” Indeed, and in the right manner!

This is silverray signing off believing that we can touch each other’s heart by sharing His love. Have a beautiful Day.
