Lord, Only You
The phone rings . . . serious storms are on the alert, an old confidant warns;
Seating myself in silence, waiting, as if a good friend is about to arrive.
Quickly getting up, my thought runs to the kitchen for a cup of coffee;
Stumbling on the way, the window again, captures my glance Is there yet a beckoning for me to come and sit?
A familiar warmth, whispering, enter, “look at this beautiful sight”! Look what I have made you – At that moment, seeing the most beautiful palette of pastels that ever be. Sitting to marvel at the view, thinking; Lord, it’s You . . . only You Master a picture so beautiful for all to see.
Out of no where . . . a clap of THUNDER! raises me from my seat, disturbing my train of thought. A deep r o l l i n g of thunder seizes my mind to thoughts of a “potato wagon”, turning over. In the heavens? Above my head! no!

Suddenly ~~ a howl into my consciousness. “What if! Could something really hit me?” trying to pay no attention I open the door to see a black dash at my feet . . . quickly averting, there! A stray cat . . . a black one! ~ Beautiful, crying and scared. Well. F O R P E T E S S A K E! The distressed animal shows its affection; reaching out, to my surprise he jumps . . . up into my arms! I can hardly believe it. Together we walk into the kitchen to get that cup of coffee. Just as I extend my arm
. . . A H A I R R A I S I N G BOOM! Lights the sky!
The cat R O C K E T S to the ceiling, tears away quickly jetting off into the freshly bathed French door, bounces off and lies latent. Guessing he’s now dead; within minutes! I hear a scream; the crazed visitor begins jumping, running here, there and everywhere!
Voices outside, frantic, exclaiming, “The transformer has been hit! “, “It’s the transformer! LOOK!
Rain begins to pour . . . lightning displays its awesome power ~ by the direction of a Living, All Powerful God
Energies within my being instantly reflect truth; God made the lightning revealing His Omnipotence to Job! VOICING; Can you send out lightnings, that they go, and say to you, ‘Here we are!’?

Dare to Believe the Living God 
I want to be the first to comment on this. The way you write, I was right there with you! The lightning, the clap of thunder and the cat jumping into your arms and most significantly . . . the awesome power of our God on full display for all the world to see . . . if they will only look up! Eh, it’s just lightning. Eh, it’s just thunder. NO IT IS NOT! You foolish people. It is the Lord God Almighty displaying His awesome mighty presence to remind us not to forget him. Just like His beautiful bow in the sky reflecting off of the firmament, His promise in the sky to remind Himself to never flood the earth again, and for us to know of His promise. But most importantly . . . His presence! He is right there with us every moment of every day. No one will have any excuse in that day when they stand before Him.

hey YAH Ministries! – so true and thank you for the timely reply. God’s authority is absolute and His throne is established on His authority. One cannot help but be sad for the multitudes unable to submit to the AWESOME Jehovah Jireh. To be knowledgeable of His various Names but without the understanding that all His Names reveal His favor and all that He wishes to be to every life! God serves man! Still! what is the excuse for not seeing that? Answer: a fallen state – the great disconnect – which is why Christ had to be given making possible that great exchange and eternal inheritance that is every believer’s who’s life is in submission to the Living God. Submission and obedience is key isn’t it; yet only enabled by the measure of the life of Christ inside. in closing: there is much that we have to learn to represent God. One Day a proclamation will go out, announcing that the kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ. And He shall reign for ever and ever Revelation 11:15 The casting out of satan from heaven under this 7th trumpet makes it possible for God to take over the governments of this world at the 2nd advent. See Revelation chapter 19:11-21 All glory and honor be unto the Living God. There are magnificent promises to man, however, we have to step into those promises understand the nature of God reaping the many blessings of those promises made. The outreach of the gospel must continue for Christ is the only answer for all things. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. May we all continue to grow in grace being filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. The best of God to you dear friends. together we conquer evil through infallible truths established by our Living God.
